Brexit: UK manufacturing orders drop
British manufacturing orders are expected to sink at the fastest rate in over ten years. According to a survey by the Confederation of British Industry, this is due to the circumstances of the Brexit ant the weakened global growth.
The CBI’s manufacturing orders balance has fallen to its lowest since 2009, from +10 in July to -19 in October. CBI chief economist Rain Newton-Smith agrees that the worsening of the job and export forecasts are caused by the slowing global economy and the Brexit unsteadiness. Reuters
